Due to recent General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) changes with Handheld Contact, log files are no longer reserved for troubleshooting purposes. This can be changed on a per user/account basis if needed.
If requested by Handheld Contact Support Technicians or if you want to allow this to be enabled for troubleshooting, please follow these directions:
- Open the Handheld Contact website.
- Login as your HHC username (email address). This can also be completed directly from here.
- Once logged in, you will start on the 'Summary' screen.
- Click on 'Edit Account' link along the left side.
- Update all required fields as necessary.
- Change 'Store log file for up to 30-days on HHC server? (used for troubleshooting only)' from No to Yes.
- When finished, click the 'Update account information' button.
- From this point moving forward, log files will be retained for up to 30 days.
- Synchronize Handheld Contact on both the PC/server as well as the device side.
Note: Making this change is not permanent. Switching back to 'No' can be done at anytime. |
