With the latest device upgrades a new feature has been added to the mobile software.  This gives the end user the ability to trigger a "Resend All Data" procedure directly from the device.  This was not previously available with Handheld Contact.  Please see the directions below for the required operating system:

IMPORTANT:  This process will only work if synchronization on the Handheld Contact PC/server application is operational and automatically syncing up to date.  Click here to determine status.

iOS (iPhone/iPad):
  1. Open Handheld Contact on the iOS device.
  2. From the Home view, tap on 'Sync Status'.
  3. Press the 3 dots icon in the upper right corner.
  4. Choose 'Request send all data'.
  5. A popup will appear reading "This operation will initiate Send all data from the Handheld Contact computer application on the next sync.  Send all data will ERASE existing data on the device and will re-download All data.  Continue?".
  6. Press 'Ok' to proceed or 'Cancel' to stop.
  7. Once you proceed, a synchronization will be automatically started.
  8. A notice will be synced from the device back to the Handheld Contact software on the PC/server side.
  9. When this is received by the desktop application the "Resend All Data" procedure will be synced as requested.
  10. After this synchronization has completed from the PC/server side, you can proceed to sync with Handheld Contact on the Android device.

Android:
  1. Open Handheld Contact on the Android device.
Send all data will ERASE existing HHC data on the device and will re-download ALL data.  Continue?".
  6. Press 'YES' to proceed or 'CANCEL' to stop.

NOTE: If you start this process and try to sync on the device at the same time as the PC/server an error message may appear.  It will read "Server is busy/locked".  This means that the Handheld Contact PC/server application is syncing at the same time so you will need to wait until the PC/server synchronization is completed before you can sync the device.
