Using GoToResolve with Handheld Contact

This article will be for utilizing GoToResolve with Handheld Contact applications on the mobile device sides.

The directions required to get GoToResolve working with Handheld Contact are found below for the needed operating system:

iOS (iPhone/iPad) Devices:

  1. The GoToResolve app must be downloaded and installed from the Apple App Store.
  2. CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL.
  3. Run the GoToResolve app on the iOS device.
  4. In the available spot, enter the 9-digit support key.  This is provided by Handheld Contact Support staff.
  5. Press 'Join'.
  6. A pop up will appear with the name of the Support member helping.  Press 'Accept'.
  7. The messages screen will appear.  At the bottom of the screen will be a black button for 'Show Screen'.  Press this button.
  8. On the 'Screen Broadcast' pop-up, press the 'Start Broadcast' button.
  9. The remote session will begin.


IMPORTANT:  GoToResolve can only view the mobile device screen and remote control is not available.

 

 

Android Devices:

  1. The GoToResolve app must be downloaded and installed from the Google Play Store.
  2. CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL.
  3. Run the GoToResolve app on the Android device.
  4. In the available spot, enter the 9-digit support key.  This is provided by Handheld Contact Support staff.
  5. Press 'Join'.
  6. A message will appear with the name of the Support member helping.  Press 'Accept'.
  7. The messages screen will appear.  At the bottom of the screen will be a notice asking if you want to allow the agent to control your device.  Press 'Allow'.
  8. The remote session will begin.  Screen sharing and remote control is available for Android devices.
