In order to find specific contacts, you will want to use the 'Search' options.  Below will be the steps needed for each platform to explain how Handheld Contact can be used to Search and customize the look-up.

iPhone/iPad:

Searching Contacts:

  1. Open Handheld Contact on the iPhone/iPad and go to the 'Contacts' tab at the bottom of the screen.
  2. The default fields for searching Contacts are 'First Name', 'Last Name', and 'Company' fields.
  3. You can search for Contacts using the 'Search' option at the top of the Contacts screen.
  4. Entering in text will search Contacts in all the above fields.  The search may find contacts based on the text appearing in multiple fields such as 'Last Name' and 'Company'.
