Syncing issues with Handheld Contact version 3.2.10.0.

Many customers have reported problems with Handheld Contact not syncing.  We were able to determine that the source was HHC version 3.2.10.0.  This was able to sync the Contacts but not the Activities or Notes/History.  When syncing was completed, it would say that "Syncing finished with problems".

We have made the necessary changes to the application and created a new build.  It is now posted online.  The version number is 3.2.11.0.  You will want to complete the following:

  1. Go to http://www.handheldcontact.com/downloads.php.
  2. It should have taken you to our download page. On the download page click on the ACT! version that you are running and download file "HHC-3_2_11_0.exe" and save it to the desktop.
  3. Once the file has been downloaded close the Handheld Contact application on the Desktop/Server.  It cannot be running while we do the upgrade.
  4. Find the HHC-3_2_11_0.exe file and run it, then choose yes to update 3.2.10.0 to this version.
  5. Once the install has completed, click Finish and Handheld Contact will open automatically.
  6. Then click Maintenance-->Synchronize Users, select the checkbox beside all users accounts and then hit Sync Now.

Note: For those customers who are tring to get a new device/account set up, you will want to choose 'Resend All Data to Handheld' from the Maintenance option.  Then select the box and press Send All.  This will update the info and resend all contacts/activities/notes and history from ACT! back towards the device.
