Handheld Contact Secure+ - How to configure

This article will explain the Handheld Contact Secure+ features and what is required to set up from the Desktop application. The first thing that is required is to have a Handheld Contact Secure+ account. If you are a trial user, this feature will be enabled by default. Otherwise, it will be enabled by subscription only. In order to upgrade your account to Secure+, please click here. An account which has Handheld Contact Secure+ enabled, will show a green lock icon in their syncing Status. See this article: how to read the Desktop application. After enabling the Handheld Contact Secure+ account, you need to configure the Handheld Contact Desktop application. Here are the steps needed:
Note: Under the 'Mobile app security' section, there is a setting for 'Automatically lock Handheld Contact mobile app'. The drop-down has options for 'x' seconds/minutes of inactivity. This term of 'inactivity' refers to the overall device inactivity and not specifically Handheld Contact. For example, if user has Handheld Contact in background and works with other apps, the lock screen will not appear because user is active on the device. If device is left alone; then after 'x' seconds/minutes the lock screen will appear. | |
