Issues with Handheld Contact version 4.3 for iPad

In the most recent upgrade to Handheld Contact version 4.3, we added some new information to sync such as 'Duration' for History.  This will sync back into ACT! so customers can track how much time is spent with certain contacts.

 

With this new 'Duration' field being added, some customers have reported issues when recording new History.  Handheld Contact will not report an error on screen to notify the user of such error but only within the log files.  This can be found by reporting a bug.  Open HHC on the iPad, choose Settings and choose 'Report a bug'.  Enter the problem into the description and send it.

 

In order to correct this issue, you just need to close Handheld Contact properly.  Please see this LINK for further details.  Once you re-open Handheld Contact then you will be able to create and sync History successfully.
